Sojaprotein donates 20 tons of soybean product to Soup Kitchen

Sojaprotein, a member of Victoria Group, has donated 20 tons of the soybean product Soprotex N to the Red Cross. The entire donation was delivered to the Red Cross warehouses in Mladenovac and Novi Sad, from where it will be distributed to 25 soup kitchens throughout Serbia. The donation was arranged in accordance with the needs of the local soup kitchens, and the soybean product will be used in Bečej, Šid, Subotica, Ada, Babušnica, Kanjiža, Aranđelovac and many other towns and municipalities.

Approximately 12,400 of our most vulnerable fellow citizens regularly use the services of these kitchens, the number of which has increased following the floods that hit our country. Thanks to the donation, the soup kitchens will be able to provide more meals to their users and the donated product, obtained through the modern processing of select soybean grain, has high nutritional and biological value.

For many years now, Victoria Group and its member companies have been assisting the Soup Kitchen coordinated by the Red Cross. More than 15,000,000 dinars worth of goods and financial assistance were earmarked for assisting the population and repairing the damage caused by the floods which hit Serbia in May.
